Description: Can Be A Picture
Personality: Amaya is probably the quietest girl you will ever meet. She likes to listen and let people rant rather than say much about things herself. She doesn’t like to stand in front of groups and speak. She isn’t comfortable in social situations at all and she is clueless when it comes to how she should act around her crush. She has a tendency to keep her mouth closed when she should open it and say something. She is kind though always willing to give a minute of her time to help even though she is really sick herself. She is a sweet girl probably the sweetest person most people ever have the chance to meet. She is also very open minded to new things but she isn’t very vocal about them at all. She has a tendency to shy away from the spot light if it ends up on her anywhere. She is weak psychically because of her cystic fibrosis and she misses allot of school but she is smart and catches up quickly and she is more than willing to learn things that people won’t teach her. She is determined even if she is weak she is trying to raise some awareness for her disease but she doesn’t tell people that she is sick so most people believe that she is just as healthy as everyone else. Friendly is another word often used to describe her once people get to know her a little better.
History: Amaya was born in Utashinai the smallest city in Japan. She is the youngest child of her family born after a set of twin boys who are really rough with each other. They were sixteen when she was born. She was born with an odd genetic situation for a Japanese people, she has blue eyes. Her eyes catch people’s attention quite easily and most people want to get something out of her because of it. She was born with Cystic Fibrosis which she has been treated for her whole life. Her dad walked out when she was two because of it. She wasn’t allowed to do allot of running or anything like that. She is on several medications for it and she has been in and out of hospitals her whole life.
At age ten she decided she wanted to go on a foreign exchange program but her mom thought it was too risky because of her disease. Her brothers at this time were twenty six both married and she had a niece and two nephews and two sister in laws. She was extremely close to them and they were all very nice Japanese women who didn’t think Amaya was creepy or anything because she is sick. The family was relatively happy because of the way that the mom worked. Their mom worked to make it so that they can afford Amaya’s medicines and medical care and the other things that she needs to get well so her mom wouldn’t let her do the foreign exchange thing saying it was because of the money that it took for her to go to the US.
When she turned twelve years old she finally met her biological dad who still didn’t want anything to do with her. He eventually reluctantly agreed to help pay for her medical expenses since he was an extremely wealthy businessman in Tokyo who was married to another woman and they had a son and a daughter who are Amaya’s younger hyperactive half siblings. She tried to talk her dad in letting her go to the US but he said no because he didn’t want to spend any more money than necessary on her.
When she turned thirteen the tragedy that was becoming her life started to get worse her CF started to act up some and it made her spend more time in the hospital, her brother Hiroshi lost his family in a car accident and their mom ended up losing her job and breaking her knee which put her on disability and left her unable to pay for her daughters medical needs. Hiroshi moved back home and got a job and started to take care of his sister and mom. Two years later Hiroshi made it big as a writer about CF and he is looking into an easier cure for Amaya’s disease. He also paid for her to go to America and he went with her to make sure that she would stay safe during her stay. He also went along to make sure that there was someone who could do her therapy and look into a lung transplant for her. She is currently attending Riverwood Academy where she isn’t able to participate in any rough sports with running or swimming but her brother didn’t go with her when she registered so the school doesn’t know she is extremely sick.
